Event Description

Over 7 years ago I met Lucy (my lovely wife)  at a charity event for a friend of hers that had fallen off a horse and broke her back. Catriona William's was an international equestrian rider representing NZ when her world was shattered. Catriona has been tetraplegic since but has an amazing will and strenght that defies belief. She set up the CATWALK trust into spinal injury research and has completed the New York Marathon in 2009 in a hand bike.

This year I will travel to New York to compete in the Marathon as a support person with Catriona's CATWALK team and to raise funds for her incredible charity. I will be paying my way there but as part of the team we are encouraged to raise funds for the CATWALK trust. As an able bodied tennis player and person I feel very priveliged to go about what I do without thinking twice.

If you would like to help out with a donation to the charity to help this cause, it would be very much appreciated. Other events will be held over the year also to help Catriona and her amazing charity to help others walk again.
